Gelato Mania Waterfall

Gelato Mania at Waterfall Corner, designed by Atelier Giorgio, draws inspiration from the charm of southern Italy and the timeless elegance of 1960s Italian design. Created as part of the brand’s Johannesburg expansion, the space transforms the everyday gelato experience into a nostalgic European escape. Terracotta and white floor tiles nod to the heritage of Italian villas, while red-and-white pinstripe ceiling baffles evoke sun-drenched summers along the Mediterranean coast. A central olive tree anchors the space, complemented by timber-framed Italian artworks, curated décor, and warm, ambient lighting. The result is a playful yet sophisticated environment that blends old-world romance with contemporary flair.
